SMC Catania katoen 106 wit

SMC Catania katoen is zeer prettig om mee te haken en splijt niet zo snel. Het is gemaakt van 100% katoen en heeft heldere en mooie kleuren en een lichte glans. Catania katoen wordt veel gebruikt voor amigurumi's, bloemetjes en het haken van granny squares. Voor het haken van amigurumi's adviseren wij een haaknaald 2,5mm voor een mooi dicht resultaat. Voor het haken van babydekentjes of granny squares kan een haaknaald 3mm of 3.5mm gebruikt worden voor een wat soepeler effect.

Voor een trui van maat 38 zijn circa 9 bollen nodig.

Stekenverhouding: 10 x 10 cm = 24 steken x 26 naalden.

Alle bollen hebben hetzelfde verfbad. Ideaal voor grote haak- en breiprojecten in uni kleur zoals kleding en dekens.

This pattern was originally designed by Ilona Leenders-Bijmans but I’ve made a few changes like the wings and the position of the skirt. Thank you so much Ilona for helping me with this pattern

Abbreviations used
ch = Chain
dc = Double Crochet
dcinc = 2 double crochet in next stitch
dec = Use the invisible decrease, insert your hook into the frontloops of the next two stitches, yarn over draw through the first two loops, yarn over through the remaining two stitches
hdc = Half Double Crochet
inc = 2 sc in next stitch
sc = Single crochet stitch
tr = Triple Crochet
FLO = Front loops only
BLO = Back loops only

3 mm Crochet hook
Fiberfill
7 mm safety eyes
SMC Catania white
SMC Catania Apricot

Start with skin colored yarn
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the magic ring
Rnd 2: [1 inc] x6 (12)
Rnd 3: [1 sc, 1 inc] x6 (18)

Rnd 5: [3 sc, 1 inc] x6 (30)
Rnd 6-11: 30 sc (30)
Rnd 12: [3 sc, 1 dec] x6 (24)

Place the 7 mm safety eyes in round 8 with 4 st in between. Fill the head
Rnd 14: FLO 18 sc (18) Change color to blue yarn

Rnd 2: [1 sl st, skip one sc, 5 dc in next st, skip one sc] x 12 (72)
Finish off.

Hair
Use yellow yarn
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the magic ring
Rnd 2: [1 inc] x6 (12)
Rnd 3: [1 sc, 1 inc] x6 (18)
Rnd 4: [2 sc, 1 inc] x6 (24)
Rnd 5: [3 sc, 1 inc] x6 (30)
Rnd 6-8: 6 sc (30)
Rnd 9: 1 hdc, 6 dc, 1 hdc, 5 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc in the next 10 st, 1 hdc, 5 sc
Finish off and leave enough yarn to attach the hair on the head.

Halo
Use white yarn
Rnd 1: crochet a chain of 20 st, connect both end with a sl st
Rnd 2: ch 1 st, 30 sc (make sure that the hdc connect very tight in order to create a firm circle), close circle with 1 sl st in first sc.
Finish off and leave enough yarn to attach the halo on the head.

Scarf
Use White yarn
Rnd 1: crochet a chain of 51 st
Rnd 2: 50 hdc
Finish off.
